Sea Spaghetti (Himanthalia elongata)

The Sea Spaghetti grows in abundance on the shores of Brittany. This seaweed, which deserves its name, can reach up to 4 meters in length.
ITS COLOUR:
• dark green to brown
ITS TEXTURES:
• raw: thick and tender
• cooked: softness similar to the green bean
ITS FLAVOURS:
fresh, salty, strong iodine flavours, seaweed initially difficult to tame.
• raw: powerful and iodine
• cooked: balanced and vegetable
